    Pfc. Charles D. Walker, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Walker of Powellton, has been missing in action since last Nov. 20 [1943], the War Department recently informed his parents. Pfc. Walker was serving in the Gilbert Islands. He enlisted in the Marines in 1942 and had been in active combat duty several months.
