Sergeant Warren G. Alger, wounded March 20 on Iwo Jima, died April 1 [1945], according to a telegram received Tuesday by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Alger, 204 E. Eighth Street, Kaukauna. He was a member of Carlson’s Raiders during the early part of the war.
