BEDARD, JOSEPH O.

Joseph O. “Oscar” Bedard, 73, of Sun City Center, died Tuesday [June 8, 1999] at home. Born in Lawrence, Mass., he came her in 1995 from Gainesville. He was owner/operator of Bedard and Michaud Insurance Agency and a Marine Corps veteran of World War II. He was chairman of the Last Man Committee of Marine Raiders and was Catholic. Survivors include his wife, Rita; a son, Joseph J., Brandon; a daughter, Bernadette Cook, Lawrence; a sister, Marguarite Bedard, Long Beach, Calif.; and two granddaughters.
