GLASSETT, CHARLES H., JR.

Charles Henry Glassett Jr., 85, of St. Petersburg, died Monday [March 15, 1993] at St. Anthony’s Hospital. He was born in Waterbury, Conn., and came here in 1958 from Portsmouth, N.H. He retired as a Marine Corps captain after 23 years, and served during World War II in the South Pacific. Locally, he was an accountant for ECI, St. Petersburg, and Sullivan & Sullivan, Gulfport, then was a security guard at the St. Petersburg Times from 1968 to 1972. He was a member of Retired Officers Association and Marine Raider Association. He was a Catholic. Survivors include a brother, Thomas, Palm City. National Cremation Society, St. Petersburg.
