FALK, ELMER F.

Elmer Frank Falk, 59, Route 14, died at 12:05 a.m. today [January 24, 1980] at Miller’s Merry Manor Health Care Center at Hope. He was an employee of the Indiana State Highway Department.

Funeral service will be conducted by the Rev. Carl Hawkins at 1 p.m. Saturday at Hathaway-Myers Funeral Chapel where persons may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday. Burial and military graveside rites conducted by members of Hope American Legion Post will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Falk was born at Indianapolis March 5, 1920, the son of John and Myrtle Davis Falk. He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II and a member of New Birth General Baptist Church at Hope and Hope American Legion Post. He had lived in the Hope area 12 years.

Survivors include his wife, Lula Bell Hamilton Falk, whom he married June 13, 1978, at Scottsville, Ky.; a son, LeRoy Falk, Indianapolis; four step-children, Ronnie McIntyre and Linda Kunce, both of Route 9, Marvin Hamilton, Hope, and Dexter McIntyre, Clifford; nine grandchildren, five sisters and two brothers.

He was preceded in death by two brothers.
