ZIEGLER, JOHN W.
John William Ziegler, 64, died Sunday [August 31, 1986] in a Santa Rosa hospital after a long illness.
Ziegler was a truck driver all his adult life, most recently for Basalt Products, Healdsburg. He belonged to the Teamsters Union and the Santa Rosa Moose Lodge No. 458. He lived in Santa Rosa for the past eight years. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II. He was a native of Olean, N.Y.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Ziegler, Santa Rosa; sons, John and Dennis Ziegler, both of Buffalo, N.Y., and stepsons, Rodney Mabb, Cotati; Bradley Mabb, Santa Rosa, and Tracy Mabb, Ashtabula, Ohio.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at Fred Young and Co., Healdsburg. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Fred Young and Co. with the Rev. Millard Wiedemann officiating. Burial will be at Shiloh District Cemetery, Windsor.
