In Santa Rosa, March 3, 1982, John A. Cooper. Loving husband of Rosella J. Cooper of Santa Rosa; beloved father of Randy Cooper of Santa Rosa, Kelly Cooper of Santa Rosa, Lezlie Cooper of El Paso, Texas and Martin Mordecai of El Paso Texas; beloved step-father of Paul Silvestri of Santa Rosa; brother of Lester Cooper of Santa Rosa; loving grandfather of Jennifer, Grant and Wyatt Mordecai, all of El Paso, Texas; also survived by several nieces and nephews. A native of Cloverdale, age 57 years. A member of Northern California Butchers Union, Local No. 115, Santa Rosa, the Marine Raider Association, and a deacon of the Presbyterian Church of the Roses. A veteran of World War II and Korea.

Friends are invited to a “Gone-Home” celebration-memorial on Sunday, March 7, 1982 at 2 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church of the Roses, Pation Ct. and Hahman Dr., Pastors Frank S. Hamilton and Wayne Joihnson officiating. Private entombment, Santa Rosa Memorial Park.
