FULLER, VERNON G.
Vernon G. Fuller, 72, 2190 Joyful Acres Lane, Abrams, died Friday, Oct. 22, 1993, unexpectedly at home. Mr. Fuller was born Sept. 26, 1921, in Oconto Falls to Harry and Ethel (Wegehaupt) Fuller. He served in the United States Marines during World War II and married Joyce Erdman on Sept. 17, 1949, at United Methodist Church, Abrams. He was active at Suamico United Methodist Church and the Odd Fellows Club, Oconto. He was a volunteer with PALS Program, Green Bay, and was owner/operator of Joyful Acres Camp Ground, Abrams. Vernon was employed for 30 years with Wisconsin Electrotype Company, Green Bay.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Tony and Sandra Fuller, Rhinelander and Terry Fuller, Abrams; a grandchild, Kristin; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Chester and Marge Fuller, Arkansas, Allen and Gretchen Fuller, Illinois, Richard and Cynthia Fuller, Iron Mountain, Mich.; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Jessie and Howard Pipl, Neenah, Ora Kasten, Madison, Beulah Conley, West Bend, Lorna and Wally Saffran, Oconto Falls; he is further survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Eunice Kalkbrenner.
The family will receive friends at Pfotenhauer Funeral Home, 1145 Cardinal Lane, Sunday from 5-8 p.m., and again Monday from 10-11 a.m. at Suamico United Methodist Church. Funeral services at 11 a.m. at the church. Andrew J. Pfotenhauer, Funeral Director.
A memorial fund has been established for the Suamico United Methodist Church, new building fund.
