DUNEGAN, CLAUDE T., JR.

Funeral services for Claude T. Dunegan, 38, native and longtime resident of Jackson and presently making his home at Ansley, will be conducted Saturday at 10: a.m. from Wright and Ferguson Chapel, with the Rev. Hightower, pastor of Grace Methodist Church, officiating. He died unexpectedly early Thursday [June 18, 1964] in Hancock General Hospital, Bay St. Louis.

He was formerly employed by the Jackson Police Department, and presently by New Orleans Public Service Company. Prior to moving to Ansley about a year ago, he was a resident of Picayune for three years. He was a licensed embalmer and a former employee of Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home.

He was a veteran of World War II, U.S. Marine Corps.

His survivors are his wife, the former Edith French; two daughters, Brenda Renee Dunegan, and Donna Dunegan, both of New Orleans, La., and his mother, Mrs. Thauly Marie Barron of Jackson.

Interment will be in Lakewood Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be W. Leonard Allen, Eudell Evans, H. G. Harrell, Chief A. H. Williams, Ralph D. Day and Billy Morgan.
