JOHNSON, ANDREW P.

HOMER, LA – Services for Mr. Andrew Pittman Johnson, 84, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 24, 1993 at Calvary Baptist Church in Homer. Officiating will be Rev. Charles Harlon, assisted by Rev. Luid Kelly. Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery.

Mr. Johnson died Monday, November 22, 1993 at his residence after a short illness. He was a WWII veteran of the U.S. Navy where he served as corpsman with the [3rd] Marine Raider Battalion, and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church where he was a Sunday school teacher and deacon.

He is survived by his wife, Miriam B. Johnson of Homer; three sons and daughters-in-law, Fred and Melba Johnson of Franklinton, La., Toney and Jean Johnson of Homer, and Pat and Lety Johnson of Bryan, TX; one daughter and son-in-law, Beth and David Carter of Doyline; two sisters, Anita Olds of Tipton, Ga. and Mary Ann Baker of Monroe; seven grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Ronald Day, Billy Sandifer, Joe Freeman, David Musgrove, Larry Feibel, Dennis Sanders, James Camp and Albert Day.

Memorials may be made to the Calvary Baptist Church or Gideon International.
