ROLL, PAUL E.

HAWTHORNE – Paul Eugene Roll, 64, died Friday [May 8, 1987] at a Reno hospital.

A native of Fort Worth, Texas, he was born Sept. 29, 1922, and was a Hawthorne resident for the past 44 years.

Roll was a World War II Marine Corps veteran. He was a truck driver for the civil service until his retirement in 1977, and was a member of the Hawthorne branch of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees and the American Federation of Government Employees.

Surviving are his widow, Lorraine, and daughters, Pamela M. Thomanson and Paula R. Lee, all of Hawthorne; son, Charles E. of Mountain Home, Idaho; and seven grandchildren.

A funeral is scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hawthorne Funeral Home, with burial at Hawthorne Cemetery.
