ORGAIN, WALTER E.

Walter Edgar Orgain, 119 Sweetbriar Lane, died Tuesday [October 16, 1979] at Baptist Hospital East.

He was a native of Memphis, sales manager at L. M. Berry Co. and a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, the former Mary Markham, and a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Cotton.

A graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Robertson County Memorial Gardens in Springfield, Tenn.

Visitation at Pearson’s, 149 Breckenridge Lane, will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and at Associated Funeral Directors in Springfield from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society or to charity.
