MANSLANK, FRANK T.
GENEVA – Frank Manslank, 48, of 146 Genesee St., was found dead in his car on the Seely Road in Fayette Sunday, Oct. 15, 1972. A coroner has ruled the death was caused by carbon monoxide poisoning.
He was born in Manchester and had worked as a painter in the Geneva area for most of his life. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean conflict, serving with the Marine Corps. He was a member of St. Francis de Sales Church, the Loyal Order of Moose and the Brotherhood of Painters.
He is survived by his wife, Caroline; two sons, Paul of Auburn and Frank II, serving with the Army in West Germany; a daughter, Mrs. Henry Jones of Geneva; three brothers, Michael of Florida and William and Paul of Boonville.
Also four sisters, Mrs. John Trictk of Rochester, Mrs. Stanley Majors of Auburn, Mrs. Jane Griffin of Rochester and Mrs. Kate Nicholson of Newark.
Services will be Thursday at 9 a.m. in the McGuigan Funeral Home and at 9:30 a.m. in St. Francis de Sales Church. Burial in Glenwood Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home today and tomorrow and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
