COCO, LAMAR U.

Lamar U. Coco, 47, died at 12:05 a.m., Thursday [March 4, 1971], in an Alexandria hospital. He was a native of Moreauville and a resident of Baton Rouge.

He is survived by his wife, the former Natalie Fitzgerald; a daughter, Catherine Coco, and a son, Jeffery Lamar Coco, all of Baton Rouge; four brothers, Ronald Coco, W. A. Coco, Rodney Coco and Clyde Coco, all of Baton Rouge; five sisters, Mrs. Lillian Mason, Mrs. Thelma Jordan, Mrs. Flossie Horan and Mrs. Sadie Gremillion, all of Baton Rouge, and Mrs. Genevieve Christy of Monroe; an aunt, Mrs. C. W. Leet of Baton Rouge, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., today in the chapel of Rabenhorst Funeral Home, Baton Rouge. Burial was in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. The family has requested that memorials be made to the Greater Baton Rouge Cancer Society.

Pallbearers were Jimmy Burkes, A. Hayes Town, Thomas Poche, Glynn Shaw, Dwight Smith, Clyde L. Aldridge, Rupert Fitzgerald, G. Thomas Jordan, Joseph Horan, W. K. Gremillion, J. Earl Christy and Dale Ranield.
