CAUTHEN, ROBERT E.

SPARTANBURG – Robert Earl Cauthen, 60, husband of Mildred Mae Taylor Cauthen, of 103 Celestial St., died Friday [June 1, 1979].

Born in Titusville County, Ala., he was a son of the late Wade Hampton and Lillian Estelle Cain Cauthen. He was a disabled veteran of World War II and a plumber.

Surviving also are two sons, Raymond I. and Robert Earl Cauthen Jr. of Spartanburg; three daughters, Clara Jean Cauthen of Spartanburg, Pat Giommo of Hodges, and Lillian Estelle Cauthen of of Charleston; four grandchildren.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Fort Prince Memorial Gardens.

The family is at the home of a son, Robert E. Cauthen Jr., 103 Celestial St.

M. W. Bobo Funeral Chapel is in charge.
