FENOCCHI, VITO E.

On May 21, 2003, Vito E. Fenocchi, age 84. Of Brooklawn, NJ for the last 44 years.

Loving husband of the late Rosemary G. (nee Lafferty). Devoted father of Maryann Fenocchi (husband Thomas Mahan) of Monroeville and Laura M. Fenocchi of Brooklawn. Dear brother of Gemma Fenocchi of Scranton, PA, Sylvia Fenocchi of Old Forge, PA and Agnes Burke of California.

Mr. Fenocchi was a 44-year resident of Brooklawn and a parishioner of Saint Maurice R. C. Church in Brooklawn. He served our country during World War II in the United States Marine Corps. He received the Purple Heart Medal for his valor during the war. Vito worked for the United States Post Office in Philadelphia as a mail clerk for 38 years. He was a life member of the Brooklawn American Legion Post #72 and a proud member of the Townsend C. Young V.F.W. Post #3620 in Gloucester City. He was an avid supporter of Joe Barth’s Brooklawn American Legion baseball teams for years.

Relatives, friends and members of all organizations are kindly invited to attend his viewing on Saturday morning from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. from the McCann Funeral Home: 851 Monmouth St. (at Brown Street), Gloucester City, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. from Saint Maurice R. C. Church: 401 Community Road (at U.S. Route #130). Interment Woodbury Memorial Park, West Deptford. There will be no evening viewing.
