MILLER, EDWARD H.

Rosary was held Tuesday in the chapel of Blower Bros. Mortuary for Lieutenant Colonel Edward H. Miller, 42, 1892 Bent Twig Ln., who died Sept. 17 [1964] at Bremerton Naval Hospital, Bremerton, Wash.

Requiem Mass was held Wednesday at the Base Chapel, Marine Corps Air Station, El Toro, Father J. A. Sullivan, MCAS Chaplain, officiating. Burial was at Ft. Rosecrans National Cemetery, San Diego.

Col. Miller had 22 years in the Marine Corps, including combat duty in World War II. He had received two Purple Hearts.

Born in the state of Washington, he was a member of the Twenty-Nine Palms Elks Lodge and the Handball Association.

Survivors are: his widow, Helen, and four children, Marilyn, Michael, Patricia, and Paul, of the home; his mother, Ruth Miller, and a brother, Jim, El Centro.
