William F. ‘Bill’ Mead, age 86, of South St. Paul, on March 18th [2005] Decorated U.S. Marine Veteran WWII (Pacific Theater). Retired USDA inspector. Preceded in death by wife, LaMora; brother, George; sister, Alma. Survived by children, Bob (Gerri) Mead, Tom (Donna) Mead, Nancy (Lee Friedman) Ryan; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren. A celebration of Bill’s life will be held Wednesday, March 23rd, from 5 to 8pm at VFW Post #295, 111 South Concord Exchange, South St. Paul. VFW ritual at 6pm. Memorials preferred to VFW Post #295. Private interment. Cremation Society of Minnesota.
