BEALES, EUGENE W.

Visitation for Eugene Walter Beales, 65, who died Wednesday [May 23, 1990] at Washoe Medical Center, is scheduled from 1 to 8 p.m. today and 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Ross, Burke and Knobel Mortuary, Reno.

A native of Downers Grove, Ill., he was born March 24, 1925, and had been a Sparks resident since 1970, coming from Los Angeles.

Beales was owner-operator of a sandblasting business, a World War II [Marine] veteran, and a member of St. Therese of the Little Flower Catholic Church.

Surviving are his widow, Norma J., daughter, Leann Gori, and a son, Rick A. Rudd, all of Sparks; daughter, Noreen Elsen of Silverdale, Wash.; sister, Loraine Fisher of Torrance, Calif.; and seven grandchildren.

Recitation of the rosary will be at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial at Mountain View Cemetery.
