SCRIBELLITO, JOSEPH D.
Joseph Scribellito Sr, 71, of Toms River, died Friday [August 27, 1993] at Deborah Heart and Lung Hospital, Browns Mills, Pemberton Township. He owned and operated the Reliable Pump and Well Company for 30 years, retiring nine years ago. He was a World War II Marine Corps veteran. He was a former member of the Columbia Civic League in Toms River. He was a member of the VFW Post 9503, Toms River. He was born in Jersey City, and lived there and in Toms River and Beachwood before moving back to Toms River five years ago.
His wife, Hazel Beideman Scribellito, died in 1988. Surviving are five sons, Angelo, Toms River, Kenneth, Lexington, S.C., Anthony, West Columbia, S.C., Joseph Jr., Westminster, Md., and George of Palm Bay, Fla.; a brother, Stephen, Toms River; a sister, Marion Salerno, Manchester Township; 13 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a friend, Lee Ehrlich, Toms River. Silverton Memorial Funeral Home, Dover Township, is in charge of arrangements.
