FOLEY, JAMES J., JR.
James J. Foley, 64, of Ramsey, formerly of Avon, died Sunday [July 26, 1987] at his home.
Mr. Foley was a supervisor with New Jersey Bell, Newark, retiring in 1977 after 30 years. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.
He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II. Mr. Foley was a communicant of St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, Ramsey, and also St. Thomas Roman Catholic Church, Bloomfield.
Born in Newark, he lived in Bloomfield and Avon for 10 years, moving to Ramsey seven months ago.
Surviving are a son, James J. III, Caldwell; eight daughters, Bernadette, Seattle, Joan Eagle, Walsenburg, Colo., Ruth Gugliociello, Lincoln Park, Maureen Byard, Northford, Conn., Elizabeth Quinlan, Bloomfield, Monica Acerra, Monmouth Beach, Mary Ann Geller and Jacquelin, both Parsippany-Troy Hills; a sister, Regina Lyons, Mount Holly; and nine grandchildren.
