HACKER, ELMER

Elmer Hacker, beloved husband of Hazel Hacker (nee Bishop); devoted father of Marcella, Daniel, Randall, Tony and Ken Hacker; dear brother of Henry, John and the late Leroy and Frank Hacker; 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren. March 20, 2002. Age 83. Resident of Summerside. Elmer received the Navy Cross for his heroism under heavy fire in the seizure of Tulagi in the Solomon Islands. Services will be held 10 a.m. Monday at the Moore Family Funeral Home, 6708 Main St., Newtown where the family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday.
