BIDLINGMAIER, CLIFFORD D.

Clifford D. Bidlingmaier, age 80, died Thursday, March 6, 2003 at the Saint Mary Medical Center in Langhorne.

Previously of Levittown and Bensalem, he was a resident of Manchester, N.J. for two and a half years. A graduate of Bensalem High School and the Philadelphia School of Chiropractic. He was a Marine Corps veteran of WWII, where he served in the Pacific Theater and fought in the battle of Guadalcanal. He was a licensed pilot and owned his own plane and he enjoyed the outdoors and hunting. He was a member of the boilermakers Union Local #13 in Newportville for 40 years and was the owner of the Skyway Grill in Langhorne, the Babbling Brook Restaurant in Kittnersville, Pa. and C. D. Bidlingmaier Plumbing and Heating business for 30 years. He was a 32nd Degree Mason with the Williamson Corinthian Lodge #368 F & AM in Philadelphia.

Husband of the late Edna (nee Scull) and grandfather of the late David Wohlgemuth. He will be sadly missed by his wife Dee (nee Eisenbrey) and his six children, Lynn F. Krystkiewicz and her husband Paul of Levittown, Lesly Palmer and her husband George of Fallsington, Clifford D. Jr. and his wife Ellen of Fairless Hills, Kimberly Wohlgemuth and her husband George of Bensalem, Valerie V. Delmoore and her husband Michael, and Brian and his wife Gaye, both of Levittown. Also survived by 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral Monday, 11:00 a.m. at the New Life Christian Church, 4 Freedom Drive, Newtown, Pa., where friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to the New Life Christian Church or the American Lung Association, 525 Plymouth Road, Suite 315, Plymouth Meeting, Pa. 19462.
