MARSTON, RAYMOND E., JR.

Raymond E. Marston, 47, of 611 Blair Drive, Normal, was dead on arrival at Brokaw Hospital Friday morning [July 4, 1969].

He was taken to Metzier Memorial Home. McLean County Coroner Curtis M. Gilberts will conduct an inquiry.

He was born in Omaha, Neb. on Nov. 15, 1921, the son of Raymond E. and Florence Mather Marston. He married Mary McGoldrick Dec. 9, 1944 in Philadelphia, Pa.

Surviving is his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Judith Marie Cross, Petersburg, Va.; one sister, Mrs. Julia Ann Schiller, Skokie. His parents preceded him in death.

He was office manager for Country Life Insurance Company, having been associated with the firm for 16 years.

He spent four years in the Marines during WWII, and was a committeeman for the McLean County Housing Authority and the American Legion Junior Baseball League.
