LAPP, NORMAN B.

Norman Lapp passed away June 20, 2005, at his home in Reno, Nevada, with his two children at his side. He was born in Penryn, California, March 6, 1921. He attended Placer Union High School and Sierra College when it was located in Auburn, and was a star basketball player.

Norman proudly served in World War II with the Marine Raiders. He moved to N. Nevada in 1955, and became a successful building contractor until his retirement.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. He is survived by a son, K. C. Lapp (Lynn); daughter, Lisa Hernandez Fred; four grandchildren: Nick and Austin Lapp, Kyle and Kelly Hernandez; his sister, Clair Nienow and Eileen Wright, and several nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held in Newcastle, California. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Circle of Life Hospice, 1575 DeLucchi Ln., Reno, NV, and/or the American Cancer Society.
