ROSPOCH, CHESTER J.

Chester Joseph “Chet” Rospoch, 85, of Casa Grande died March 23, 2007 at RTA Hospice House.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel, with rosary recited at 6. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church by the Rev. Kevin Clinch. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.

Mr. Rospoch was born May 21, 1921 in Middleburg Heights, Ohio, and was a son of Peter and TeDora Rospoch. He was raised with seven siblings and attended Berea (Ohio) High School. He entered the Marine Corps before World War II, in 1940, and served in Raider Battalions 1A and 2B.

He met Lottie H. Olszewski in 1947 and they were married the next year. Together they owned and operated Chet’s Sewing Center and Singer dealership in Casa Grande. He was an avid golfer in his retirement years.

In addition to his wife, survivors include several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers, John, William and Peter Rospoch Jr., and four sisters, Catherine Gieger, Agnes Hamilton, Irene Sienkiewicz and Florence Spooner.
