Casimir T. Kowalik, fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, on Tues., Aug. 7, 2001; loving husband of Virginia (nee Kurowski) Kowalik; loving father of Barbara (Skip) Magruder, John (Diane), Kenneth (Mary), Bob (Jan), David, Daniel (Kathy) Kowalik; dear grandfather of 14; dear great-grandfather of 1; dearest brother of Helen Windmoeller, Lorraine Szablowski, Bernice Rengel and Carl Kowalik; dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Mr. Kowalik was a World War II veteran serving in the Marine Corps, being with the Carlson’s Raiders and the 5th Division. He was a life member of the Knights of Columbus DeAndreis Council, member of the Local 88 and a member of the 50 Plus Club.

Funeral service Fri., Aug. 10, 9:00 a.m. from Stygar Mid Rivers Funeral Home, 5987 Mid Rivers Mall Dr., St. Charles, to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton (St. Charles) for a 9:30 a.m. Mass. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Masses or memorial contributions may be made to Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital in Mr. Kowalik’s name. Visitation Thurs., Aug. 9, 3 until 9 p.m.
