HAINES, CLINTON F.
CARLSBAD – CWO 4 Clinton Francis Haines, USMC, Retired, died Friday, May 1, 1992, at Tri-City Medical Center. He was 80.
Mr. Haines served for 30 years in the U.S. Marine Corps and for 20 years in civil service. Born in 192 in Northampton, Mass., he moved to Carlsbad in 1950 to raise his family. He was an active golfer in the men’s club at Camp Pendleton.
He is survived by his wife, Eloise Haines of Carlsbad; daughters, Karen Haines of Vista and Lynne Avila of Encinitas; and grandsons, Jeremy Bauer and Drake Avila.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 5, 1992, at Eternal Hills Mortuary Chapel, Oceanside. Father Charles Wright of Prince of Peace Abbey in Oceanside will officiate. Interment will be at Eternal Hills Memorial Park, Oceanside. Arrangements are entrusted with Eternal Hills Mortuary.
