ELLIOTT, FRANCIS X.

Francis Xavier Elliott passed away on Monday, June 13, 2005 of kidney cancer at his home. Age 80 years. A native of New Orleans and a resident of River Ridge for 36 years. Mr. Elliott attended SLI in Lafayette, Tulane University and graduated from Delgado School of Drafting. He served In the United States Marine Corps in WWII. Mr. Elliott was a sales manager At Napko-Fuller O’Brien Paint Company for 35 years. He was a member of St. Matthew’s the Apostle Church Ushers Society, St. Vincent De Paul and VFW 6640. Son of the late Eugenia and Ignace Elliott. Mr. Elliot enjoyed woodworking as a hobby. Beloved husband of Annabel Crawford Elliott. Devoted father of Andree Frances Elliott of Longview, TX. Brother-In-law of Jack Crawford. Also survived by three nephews, Wade Elliott, William Crawford and Kenneth Crawford; and two nieces, Marlene Stamps and Bona Challingsworth; and one great-nephew, Elliott Stamps. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral mass at St. Matthew the Apostle Church, 10021 Jefferson Hwy., River Ridge on Friday, June 17, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be private. Visitation will be held at church on Friday, June 17, 2005 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Memorial donations may be made to Guardian Hospice, 201 Evans Road, Suite 212, Jefferson, LA 70123. Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
