COFFMAN, AFTON R., JR.

AUSTIN — Afton “Pat” Coffman, 75, of 2018 First Ave. S.E., Austin, died March 24, 1995 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 27, 1995 at the First United Methodist Church in Austin with the Rev. Mark Nordell officiating. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery.

A Masonic service will be held Sunday, March 26, 1995 at 7 p.m. at the Worlein Funeral Home in Austin.

Pat was born on Jan. 6, 1920 in Kasson, Minn. To Afton and Frances (Kellener) Coffman. He joined the Marines in 1941 and was in the Raiders Battalion until 1945. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Austin, and belonged to the Shriners,

Scottish Rite, Eastern Star, American Legion Post 91, and the Masonic Lodge No. 37. Pat was a Milwaukee Railroad conductor for forty-one years. He resided in the Austin area for approximately fifty years.

He is survived by his wife, Joan Coffman of Austin; son and daughter-in-law Greg and Helen Coffman of Wabasha; daughter and son-in-law Cheryl and Phillip Dowd of Austin; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mrs. Kermeth Northwick was organist and Dr. Roger Downing was the soloist.
