LOVE, EARL W.

Earl W. Love, of Willcox died May 17, 2006 in Tucson at the age of 84. He was born in Wichita, Kan. on March 2, 1922.

Earl served in the U.S. Marines during WW II. He retired from the carpenter union in 1984, was a lifetime member of the VFW Post No. 1512 in Lemon Grove, Calif., and a member of the Willcox Elks Lodge No. 2131. On Feb. 14, 1985, in Hawaii he married Glenda Terbell and in 1989 they moved to Willcox.

Survivors include his wife, Glenda, of Willcox; sons, Michael Love of Pahoa, Hawaii., and Craig (Freda) Hart of San Diego, Calif.; and a daughter Dianne Miller of Keizer, Ore. Also surviving are four grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and his brother, James Love of Kansas. He was preceded in death by his parents Newell and Florence (Tarr) Love, a son, Tommy, his sister, Elizabeth and his brother, Donald.

Memorial Services were held at 10 a.m., on Monday, May 22, at Westlawn Chapel. Interment of his cremains will be held at a later date at Sunset Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Charles Wm. Leighton Jr. Hospice, P.O. Box 115, Willcox, AZ 85644.
