DICK, KENNETH I.

Kenneth I. Dick, a retired school administrator, died Monday [August 20, 1979] in a local hospital.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Sunset Chapel Mortuary with the Rev. Philip Green officiating. Burial, with military honors, will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Dick, a resident since 1973, spent 20 years with the Colorado school systems.

Born Feb. 9, 1915, in Topeka, Kan., he graduated from Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kan., and earned his master’s degree in 1940 from the University of Colorado in Boulder. He was married May 16, 1942, in Topeka.

Mr. Dick served in the Marine Corps during World War II and the Korean Conflict.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Dick; a daughter, Kristen Landkammer of Tampa, Fla.; a son, Jim Dick of Denver; two sisters, Juanita Rabe of Topeka and Betty Brown of Kansas City, Kan.; a brother, John Dick of Phoenix, Ariz., and one grandchild.
