WEBER, BRUCE W.

Bruce W. Weber, 59, 110 Poplar St., Ironwood, died Friday [February 16, 1979] at Grand View Hospital.

Born Feb. 12, 1920, at Forestville, Wis., son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Emil Weber, he moved to Ironwood from Forestville 15 years ago. For the past six years he was a lumber broker and worked nearly 40 years in the lumber industry. He was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church and served as its vice president and as a trustee. On May 6, 1951, he was married to the former Lucy Born at Milwaukee.

Surviving are his widow; one son, John, Big Rapids; one daughter, Susan, Marquette; and one sister, Mrs. Joseph Hermann, Milwaukee.

Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church with the Rev. Marvin Lorenz officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Algoma, Wis.

Visitation will be held at McKevitt-Kershner Funeral Home after 5 p.m. Sunday and at the Church Monday from 10 a.m. until the service time.
