CLINE, ALVIN E.
Alvin E. Cline, 67, 3903 Cherry Grove Rd., Jamestown, died at 6:20 p.m. Thursday [May 7, 1987] at Kettering Memorial Hospital.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps in World War II and was retired from farming and KSH Plastics of Xenia. The son of Jacob F. and Blanche Sword Cline, both deceased, he was born Dec. 23, 1919 near Bowersville.
Survivors include his wife, Janet Arnold Cline; two daughters, Myra June Steiner, Bowersville and Mary Jane Rohlfing, Jamestown; a son, Thomas E., South Charleston; three grandchildren, Kimberly Steiner, Rachel and Michael Cline; a brother, Wayne, Wilmington, and sister and brother-in-law, Annie and Edward Bradds, Jamestown. He is also preceded in death by a son, Glen J. Cline.
Services are 2 p.m. Monday at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, where friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m., Sunday. Burial is at Sugar Creek Methodist Cemetery, Fayette County.
