LONG BEACH, Calif. –Philo Clair Farnsworth, 52, Long Beach, died June 27, 1976, at the Long Beach Naval Hospital after a long illness.
Born Aug. 1, 1923, Mountain Home, Utah, to Philo Taylor and Hazel Thayne Farnsworth. Married Adele Frances Sieber May 22, 1948. Wounded while serving with the Marine Corps on Okinawa in WW II.
Survivors: wife; 3 daughters, Mrs. Laurie Gaulden, Mrs. William (Anne) Alligood, Mrs. Doug (Kris) Mann, all Dana Point, Calif.; 2 grandchildren; 10 brothers and sisters, Mrs. Charles (Afton) Mackie, Rex, Leo, Mrs. Aaron (Grace) Wilkins, Mrs. Walter (Laura) Cummings, Mrs. Jerry (Leah) Bassett, Lon, Mrs. Vern (Veloy) Bird, Durell, Dee.
Funeral Saturday noon, Moon Lake LDS Ward Chapel on Utah 87 near Boneta, Duchesne County. Friends may call at the Ward Chapel 2 hours before services. Burial, Mountain Home Cemetery.
