Services for James T. Pashas, 53, of Palatine, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in Ahlgrim and Sons Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine. Burial will be in Oak Wood Cemetery, Chicago.
He was dead on arrival at Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights, apparently from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Barrington [September 28, 1976]. He was the owner of the Judge’s Chambers (formerly Weber’s Lounge), Fox River Grove. He also was the former manager of the Beef ‘N’ Barrel Restaurant in Schaumburg, Elk Grove Village and Lombard; a member of Hellenic Masonic Lodge No. 1084, A.F. & A.M.; Medinah Temple, Valley of Chicago; and a World War II U.S. Marine Corps veteran.
Survivors include sisters, Diane Pappas and Maxine O’Brien; mother, Eleanor Pashas; three nephews; and one niece.
Visitation will be from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. today in Ahlgrim and Sons Funeral Home, Palatine, where a masonic service will be held tonight. Memorials may be made to the Burn Unit of the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children, 2211 N. Oak Park Ave., Chicago.
