HOUGH, HARRY E.

PURDY, Mo. – Harry Eugene Hough, 65, Purdy, was found dead at 5:45 p.m. Monday at his home after an apparent heart attack [February 5, 1989].

Mr. Hough was born April 8, 1923, at Joplin. He moved to Purdy in 1977 from San Jose, Calif. He was a retired Teamster. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II serving in Japan. He was a member of the U.S. Marine Raider Association and Disabled American Veterans. He attended the Assembly of God Church.

He married Jettie Lois Ward on March 2, 1946, at Stockton, Calif. She died Dec. 30, 1982.

Survivors include a daughter, Fran Crocker, San Jose; a sister, Genevieve Follett, Stockton; and a grandson.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday at Williamson-Cassville Funeral Home. Graveside services will full military rites will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery, Joplin.

Friends may call after noon Sunday at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m.

The casket will remain closed at all times.
