CZUBRYT, THADDEUS J.

Thaddeus J. Czubryt, 45, of 7 Victory Terrace, vice chairman of the Adams Planning Board, died today [December 27, 1968] in an automobile accident.

Mr. Czubryt was born in Adams, the son of Joseph and Mary Czubryt. He attended Adams schools and Adams Memorial High School.

For the past 26 years Mr. Czubryt was employed a toolmaker by the General Electric Co. in Pittsfield.

In the early part of World War II he was a member of the U.S. Marine Corps until his discharge for medical reasons.

A member of the dams Planning Board since 1964, Mr. Czubryt has served as its secretary and treasurer. He represented Adams on the Berkshire County Planning Commission.

Earlier this year he was appointed by the Massachusetts Federation of Planning Boards as director of Area 1.

His fraternal associations included service as past president of the St. Stanislaus Kostka Society and past adjutant of Adams Post, American Legion.

He leaves his wife, Mary Joan (Matuszak) Czubryt, and their two children, Robert and Cynthia Czubryt.
