ENGLAND, ROBERT H.

KINGMAN – Services for Robert H. England, 66, who died at his home here Friday [April 18, 1969], were held yesterday in the Kingman Ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Mr. England, who came to Kingman in July 1960, retired in 1959 as a chief warrant officer after serving more than 33 years in the Marine Corps.

He served with Edson’s Raiders in the South Pacific during World War II and was a life member of Edson’s Raiders Association.

Mr. England was a member of the Mohave County Fair Commission for five years, president of the Mohave County 4-H Leaders Council and a member of the Southside Neighborhood Council and the LDS Church.

Survivors include his wife Abbie M.; two sons, Robert H. England II, Kingman, and John, a Marine Corps sergeant serving in Vietnam; a daughter, Isabelle, a student at Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah; two brothers out of state and two grandchildren.
