PAGE, GLEN D.
WATSONVILLE (UPI) – A light plane smashed into a hillside four miles north of here Sunday [October 28, 1973], killing the pilot.
The victim was Glen Page, 52, a chinchilla ranch owner from Watsonville. Witnesses said Page, who was alone in the single-engine Cessna 150, was apparently buzzing the ranch property when he hit the hillside about 10 a.m.
He was described as an experienced pilot who regularly flew between his businesses in Watsonville and Modesto.
The Federal Aviation Administration was investigating the accident.
