THEISS, PAUL H.
Funeral services for Paul H. Theiss, a World War II veteran and cab driver here for many years, will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Ullrich funeral establishment, 4201 Belair Road.
Mr. Theiss, who was 49, died Wednesday [October 18, 1967] at Union Memorial Hospital after a heart attack.
Born in Baltimore, he lived at 4113 Raymonn Avenue.
During World War II, Mr. Theiss served with the Marines in the 1st Raider Battalion, a volunteer commando unit assigned to the Pacific. During one campaign, Mr. Theiss was wounded and received the Purple Heart.
After the war he began driving a cab for the Checker Cab Company.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Edna Theiss; a son, Paul P. Theiss, of Baltimore; his mother, Mrs. Margaret Theiss; two brothers, George Theiss, of Baltimore, and Charles Theiss, of Miami, and four sisters, Mrs. Ruth Mazmanian, Mrs. William Jones, Miss Marie Theiss and Miss Freda Theiss, all of Baltimore.
