SCHADE, HARRY T.

An El Sereno man was killed when the car he was working on rolled down an incline and pinned him to a guardrail, authorities said.

Harry T. Schade, 51, of 3726 Oak Hill, was working on the brakes of his car in front of his home Thursday [June 15, 1972] when the auto began rolling down a slight incline, police said.

When Schade grabbed the bumper to try to stop it, he was dragged to a nearby guardrail and crushed.
