RAIMER, BERNARD F., JR.
WABASHA, Minn. (Special) — Bernard F. Raimer, Jr., 38, Greensburg, lnd., died of a brain tumor at Veterans Hospital, Minneapolis, at 8:30 p.m. Sunday [August 11, 1963]. He had been ill six months.
He was born Nov. 8, 1924 in Chicago to Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Raimer Sr. He moved lo Wabasha in 1947. He married Shirley Graner of Wabasha Feb. 24, 1951. They moved to Greensburg in 1960, where he became manager of the Nebraska Consolidated Flour Mill. While in Wabasha, he was head
foreman or International Milling eight years.
He was a member of the Grace Memorial Episcopal Church here, a past master of the Masonic lodge, member of (he Wabasha school board, president of the Wabasha Jaycees four years, and a member of the chamber of commerce. He also was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Marines from 1942-1945. He was a member of the Elks lodge at Greensburg.
He is survived by his parents, his wife, one son, Steven, and two daughters, Deborah and Julie.
Funeral services will be al Grace Memorial Episcopal Church Wednesday at 2 p.m., the Rev. George Spralt officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
There will be no visitation. Abbott-Wise Funeral Home is in charge. A memorial is being arranged.
