Funeral services for Marine Corps Cpl. Raymond Rowland Wagner, who was killed in action May 20, 1945, on Okinawa, will be Friday at 2:30 p. m. at Zion Congregational Church under direction of the Ross Hollywood Mortuary. Military honors will be accorded at the grave in the veterans’ plot of Lincoln Memorial Park.

Corporal Wagner, born in Portland January 7, 1923, attended Jefferson High School, Portland, and Hood River High School. He enlisted in the Marine Corps in January, 1943, went overseas in July and was wounded in the…Solomons in November, 1943.

He leaves the parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Wagner, a brother, George Wagner, Jr., and a sister, Amelia Jeanne Wagner.
