USHER, WILLIAM H.
Funeral services for Corporal William Henry Usher, U.S.M.C., son of Mr. and Mrs. William R. Usher of Bristol Ferry Road, Portsmouth, were conducted at the Portsmouth Cemetery Saturday. The Rev. S. Raymond Luthy, pastor of St. Paul’s Methodist Church of Portsmouth, officiated. Military honors were given by a firing squad and bugler from the Marine Corps.
Corporal Usher was killed in the Okinawa invasion in [April 6] 1945.
