PERRY, HENRY C.

Henry (Hank) C. Perry, 89, a longtime resident of Falmouth, Ma passed away on October 24, 2007 after a lengthy illness in Bedford, N.H. Hank was born May 7, 1918 in Chelsea but lived in Lynn for most of his life. He was preceded in death by his first wife Rose (Cerica) Perry, formerly of Swampscott, Ma., his second wife; Helen (McColligan) Perry, his two brothers and sister, George, Jim and Mary (Kerressey) Perry, as well as his two beloved grandchildren Max Fitzpatrick of Londonderry, N.H. and Brittany Rose Perry of Lancaster, CA.

Hank served honorably with the United States Merchant Marines, United States Coast Guard and finally, the United States Marine Corps, 4th Battalion Carlsonʼs Raiders during World War II. Many of Falmouthʼs residents might have seen him in the early morning hours parked at the harbor reading his paper and enjoying his daily ritual of a Dunkin Donut and coffee.

Surviving family members include his daughter, Kathleen Perry of Manchester, N.H., and son, Ralph Perry of Lancaster, CA; five grandchildren, one great-grandchild and best friend, Glen Andrade.

Funeral services will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, Ma. on November 5, 2007. Arrangements entrusted to the Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro.
