Rosary services for George D. Parks will be at the Immaculate Conception tonight at 8. Requiem Mass will be at the church Thursday morning at 11 with entombment in Desert Lawn Mausoleum.

Parks, 50, died Tuesday [September 7, 1971] in Parkview Baptist Hospital. He was a Marine veteran of World War II.

Pallbearers include John Peach, Tony Padilla, Rudy Pihl, Sammy Lucero, Ivan Mahaydik and Harold Donkersley. Honorary bearers include Virgil Wardell, Bob Jirak, Gene Baker, Richard Phipps, Cecil Moore and Chile Doten.

The family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society’s Yuma County Unit in lieu of remembrances.
