NICKERSON, ROBERT P.

NEWBERRY – Robert Paul Nickerson of the North River Road died this morning [April 20, 1972].

He was born Nov. 16, 1923, in Antrim County and was a Newberry area resident over 30 years, working as a woodsman.

He was a veteran of World War II and member of American Legion Post 74 of Newberry.

He is survived by five brothers, Fred of Newberry, Donald of Valdosta, Ga., Wallace of Kentucky, William of Flint and Bruce of Detroit, and one sister, Mrs. Jean Stolle of Temperance, Mich.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday from the Beaulieu Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Schiska officiating.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 until 9 p.m. Friday.

Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery.
