MASON, DONALD L.

Cpl. Donald L. Mason, son of Louis A. Mason of San Antonio, was killed on Okinawa May 10 [1945], according to word received by his father.

He was a member of the Sixth Marine Division and had been overseas 27 months. He saw action on Saipan and Guam and landed on Okinawa Easter Sunday.

A former resident of San Antonio, he graduated from Polytechnic High School in Fort Worth.

Besides his father, he is survived by his mother, Mrs. E. R. Johnson, and a sister, Dorothy, of Fort Worth.
