KRUSA, EDWARD T.
Edward Thomas Krusa, age 70, of Ogden Dunes, passed away Thursday evening, July 15, 1993 at his residence. He was born March 10, 1923 in East Gary, and was a lifelong resident of the area. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kiemens and Catherine (Louches) Krusa and 2 sons, Michael Krusa, in 1961, Gerard Krusa, in 1963. Mr. Krusa retired in 1983 from E. J. & E Railroad as a Locomotive Engineer after 42 years of service. He was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran of World War II where he served in the Raider Battalion and was also a Purple Heart recipient. He was a member of the St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church in Miller; a third degree member of the Knights of Columbus, St. Clements Council #3283 in Lake Station; and was also a fourth degree member of the Abraham Lincoln Assembly; a member of American Legion Post #207; and a former member for 30 years of American Legion Post #17, both of Gary; He was also a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers.
